Get answers to common questions about Correction.
Most Correction sessions last 60–120 minutes. Many clients need one to three sessions depending on pigment depth and complexity. We space touch-ups 4–8 weeks apart for proper healing and color settling. A consultation determines an exact plan and timeline.
We usually neutralize and rebalance unwanted tones rather than fully removing pigment. Some stubborn or dark inks may require laser removal first. During consultation we assess pigment composition and recommend neutralizers, cover-ups, or referral if removal is necessary.
Topical numbing keeps discomfort minimal for most clients. Expect mild swelling, redness, or sensitivity for 1–7 days while the area heals. Follow aftercare instructions to speed recovery, avoid irritation, and ensure optimal pigment settling and color correction.
If recent work is still healing, wait at least 8–12 weeks before Correction to allow pigments to stabilize. Older or healed permanent makeup can be corrected anytime. We evaluate each case during consultation to recommend ideal timing and approach.
Many pigment issues—such as unwanted hues, faded color, or poor shape—can be corrected. However, deeply implanted or non-reversible tattoo inks might need laser removal. We assess pigment type and propose corrective, camouflage, or removal options during consultation.
Correction pricing depends on area, pigment complexity, and number of sessions. We offer consultations to evaluate your needs and provide a personalized quote. Typical corrective touch-ups range widely; a consultation gives an accurate cost estimate.
