How the treatment works
Your appointment begins with a focused consultation and design stage where we map the line to your eye shape and discuss intensity. The single first session lasts 120 MINUTES and includes time for mapping, topical anesthetic application, and pigment placement. Price for this initial appointment starts at $500, and the follow-up touch-up is separate.
Topical numbing is applied to improve comfort during pigment placement; many clients remark positively on the numbing performance. After pigment application the line will appear darker and more defined initially. Because eyelid skin and individual healing vary, a required follow-up touch-up after six weeks is necessary to refine shape and color for longevity, for an additional $150 fee.
What to expect during healing
Healing on the delicate eyelid can change how pigment looks in the first weeks: initial darkness, mild surface flaking or fading, then settling to a softer finish. This is normal and part of the outcome; individual responses vary and the six-week review determines any necessary adjustments.
Seasonal and local climate matter for comfort while healing. San Francisco's mild, often foggy summers and wet winters make spring and autumn preferable; our busiest months are Mar, Apr, Oct and Nov when temperatures are gentler for eyelid recovery. Plan appointment timing accordingly, especially if you commute via Civic Center BART or need a predictable healing window before events.

During your consult we discuss thickness, finish, and how the line will photograph and wear over time so you can choose a look that suits your lifestyle.
Appointments are convenient for commuters and visitors near Van Ness Corridor and Civic Center, making lunchtime or after-work bookings realistic for busy schedules. Many clients pair appointments with nearby errands or meetings around City Hall, Union Square or Fisherman’s Wharf, then return for the required six-week touch-up to complete the result.
