Get answers to common questions about Brazilian Wax.
Avoid heavy caffeine and alcohol, exfoliate lightly two days prior, and ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long. Arrive clean and skip lotions. Our estheticians review medical history and explain the process before performing your Brazilian Wax for comfort and safety.
You may feel a brief sting during removal, but discomfort typically subsides within minutes. Numbing options and careful technique minimize pain. Regular waxing generally becomes less painful over time as hair thins and follicles weaken.
We follow strict single-use and sanitization protocols, including fresh applicators, disposable gloves, and professional-grade disinfectants. Treatment rooms are cleaned between clients and we use premium sensitive-skin wax. You’ll be guided through consent and aftercare to ensure a hygienic Brazilian Wax experience.
Hair should be about a quarter-inch (roughly two to three weeks of growth) so the wax can grip effectively. If hair is too short we may ask you to return; too long hair can increase discomfort. We can trim if needed.
Pregnancy: many clients safely receive Brazilian waxes, especially after the first trimester, but consult your healthcare provider first. During menstruation, waxing is possible if you’re comfortable; we provide privacy, strict hygiene, and disposable protective products for added reassurance.
Schedule Brazilian Waxes every four to six weeks depending on your hair growth and personal preference. Consistent appointments promote thinner regrowth and longer smooth periods. We’ll assess your cycle and recommend a personalized schedule for optimal, long-lasting results.
